How large is the center and how many employees occupy it?

AREC has 5 employees and spans 300 acres.

What is researched at this center?

AREC hosts research on peaches, pecans, peanuts, corn, soybeans, cotton and watermelons.

How many projects and staff are involved?

There are 36 ongoing projects along with 16 scientists and 45 staff that will accompany the scientists throughout the year along the the staff at AREC.

Do only UGA scientists conduct research at this center?

UGA scientists aren't the only scientists that conduct research. Scientist also come from the University of Florida out of Gainesville , Florida and the USDA, of Byron, Georgia.
